After a 20-day production cycle, the four flatbed trailers ordered by the customer have finally been completed and are being loaded into containers and shipped to Guatemala today. To save the customer on shipping costs, the flatbed trailers are designed with a shortened tail; the customer can simply bolt and rivet the trailers together upon receipt.

The client operates a logistics transportation business in Guatemala and has requirements for the stability and weight of 40ft flatbed trailers. We configured the trailers with T700 high-strength steel, which improves the strength of the flatbed trailers while reducing the overall weight.

To meet the client’s container transportation needs, we configured 12 sets of container locks, enabling the simultaneous transport of two 20-foot containers or one 40-foot container.

Anti-corrosion powder coating process

Considering our client primarily handles container shipping at ports, and given the susceptibility of vehicles to rust due to salt spray corrosion, we implemented a fully automated sandblasting and electrophoretic painting process. The paint adhesion reaches Grade 1 standards, ensuring the vehicles will not rust for up to 5 years in humid tropical climates, significantly enhancing the durability of the flatbed trailer.

What is the most economical way to transport goods using a flatbed trailer?

Flatbed trailers are not just used for container transport. Because of their flat cargo surface, they are usually transported by stacking. Roll-on/roll-off or bulk carrier transport are available. Depending on the customer’s cost and arrival time requirements, we will provide more flexible packaging and transportation solutions.
